UCMC stands with the citizens of Marinette County to make us a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary/Preservation. We fully support Concealed Carry Laws and Constitutional Carry.
We oppose Red Flag Laws that would infringe on law-abiding citizens’ right to bear arms.

What is the 2nd Amendment?
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
What is a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary/Preservation Resolution?
A resolution, ordinance, or declaration in support of the 2nd Amendment at the state, county, or locality within the United States. It opposes, prohibits, or impedes the enforcement of unconstitutional gun control measures.

What does a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary/Preservation Resolution do?
*Prohibits the county board from funding unconstitutional firearms laws (unlawful seizure of firearms).
*Affirms the county’s support of the Sheriff to NOT enforce unconstitutional firearms laws.
*Declares the county will oppose unconstitutional laws that infringe on the rights of the people to keep and bear arms.
